Who was Rudolf
Steiner?
Rudolf Steiner was an Austrian
scientist, artist and philosopher working around the turn of
the 20th century. Rudolf Steiner’s concept of the mind was to
underpin an entirely modern approach to understanding who we
are. It led to a “spiritual science” he called Anthroposophy
supported by a wealth of lectures and other work.
Seers, mediums and healers have often drawn on and
been inspired by the work of Rudolf Steiner and many others
will have heard something about his work – but the general
reader will have found it very difficult to find any
accessible resource on spiritual science.
The fruits of
Anthroposophy are found today in all fields of human
endeavour. For example: education (Waldorf
schools),
medicine (Weleda
homeopathic treatments, Medicine) biodynamic
agriculture (Biodynamics, Biodynamic),
‘special needs’ provision (Camphill
movement) finance (Triodos), organisational
development, art and architecture (ART).
